The Sheshan Golf Academy is headed up Grant Halverson and Michael Neff. Using the 3-D Motion
Capture System with Michael's swing analysis expertise and Grant's world class golf instruction,
Sheshan Golf Academy will deliver an unequaled golfing experience to every golfer in the luxurious
setting of Sheshan.
Grant Halverson
Grant Halverson has been playing golf for over 30 years. He started playing golf under the guidance of
his father Jack who is a lifetime member of the PGA. He competed on the European PGA Tour, the
European Challenge Tour, and the South African PGA Tour from 1991-1994. When he finished his
playing career, he developed a passion for teaching golf. He has taught with a number of the world's
greatest instructors including Dr. Jim Suttie, Peggy Kirk Bell, and David Leadbetter. Currently Grant is a
master golf instructor at the Aviara Golf Academy at the Four Season's Resort in San Diego, California.
Michael Neff
Michael Neff is a PGA Professional and master club fitter who has worked with several PGA. LPGA,
Senior PGA and mini-tour players on the 3-D motion Capture System, as well as thousands of
amateurs of all skill levels. He has been a golf instructor for 12 years and is an expert on TaylorMade
products. He is a master club builder and repair specialist. Michael is also a leading expert on The
Motion Capture System, he has logged thousands of hours on the system.
Bob Knee
Bob Knee will act as an additional instructor. Bob Knee has been playing golf for 30+ years and
teaching for the last 15 years at the Aviara Golf Academy. He graduated from UC San Diego and was
an All American collegiate player. He competed on the Canadian Tour and played in the Buick
Invitational (PGA Tour) event. Bob is a member of the PGA and has worked with PGA Tour player Chris
Riley, member of the 2004 Ryder cup team, for the past 10 years. Bob Knee has been recognized as
one of the "Top Instructors" in the state of California for the past 5 years. Bob is currently a master
instructor at the Aviara Golf Academy at the Four Season's Resort in San Diego, California.
